Veg hakka noodles

Welcome to another blog. This is one of the favourite recipe kids love. The first thing they order in restaurants are noodles.


Have you seen the amount of oil in a bowl of noodles at the restaurant. Sometimes I get worried seeing that much oil in the dish.

When my son was small, our paediatrician told me to give everything to eat. He never said dont give this or dont give that. But his only condition was to make everything at home.

If you make kids favourites at home, they will not be craving for anything. Only when they crave, they demand unhealthy things. This part I learnt from one of my friends. This surely helps as I have seen the results myself.

Coming to noodles

Readymade hakka noodles - 1 pkt

Mixed veg - 2 cups

( spring onions, cabbage, carrot, beans, capsicum)

Soya sauce - 1 tbsp

Chilly sauce - 1 tbsp

Oil 

Salt

Pepper



In a kadai, add oil and in medium high heat , saute all vegetables for 3- 5 minutes.

Once sauteed, add boiled noodles ,and the sauces with some salt and pepper.

Toss it till everything comes together and cook it for 3- 5 minutes.

Serve it in a bowl just like restaurant.


If you dont have soya sauce or chilli sauce dont worry. Just toss in some tomato ketchup with chilli flakes. Also add 1 or 2 cloves of garlic. Done , tasty restaurant style noodles at home with whole lot of vegetables and a lot less oil.
