World on your plate

 Hi friends,

After a hectic diwali ,we are back with our routines. I was making only simple dishes all this week just to give a rest to our stomach after so many sweets.

For the past 2 ,3 days, we wanted to have ratatouille and fortunately I got zucchini and yellow squash . So decided to have today being a Saturday.

When thought of something to go with it, I decided to make pasta. Also finalized one pasta dish. But my husband prefers rice over pasta. So i decided to make  one rice.

Finally, for safety I always keep curd rice as a fall back option😉😉😉.

So it was French Ratatouille,  Italian Aglio olio pepperoncini, Chinese schezwan fried rice, Indian curd rice  on our plates today .

I made everything only little as I didn't want to waste.

Ratatouille - slices of zucchini, squash, eggplant, capsicum and tomato are baked with crushed tomatoes as base.

Aglio olio pepperoncini - Boiled pasta is sauteed with oil, garlic and chilli flakes.

Schezwan fried rice - Cooked rice is tossed with finely chopped vegetables and schezwan sauce and spring onions.

I used homemade sauce as I didn't want to use bottled.

Please try everything as it is easy and doesn't take much time to cook .
