Moms special puli milagai

Happy evening. If you are like me, you will never have curd rice without anything spicy. I like my pickles a lot. My mother makes yummy pickles. In fact in the recent days she has become pickle supplier for our family. Puli milagai ,puli inji and narthangai curry are her specialities.
Puli milagai
INGREDIENTS:-
Green chillies :-20 to 25
Tamarind :- small lemon sized soaked
Gingelly oil :-1tbsp
Mustard seeds :-1 tsp
Methi seeds :-1/2 tsp
Jaggery :- same amount as tamarind
Salt
Hing
Curry leaves
In a kadai , pour oil. Once it's hot add mustard, methi seeds,hing, curry leaves. Once everything crackles, add finely chopped green chillies and fry that in oil for 3 ,4 minutes. After 4 minutes, add tamarind water,salt, and jaggery. Let it boil for 10 minutes. Now the puli milagai would have turned thick. Switch off the gas.
It is suitable for arisi upma too.
