Day 9 - saraswati poojai

 Hi everyone, 

Welcome to our navaratri.  This is the final day of navaratri.  Tomorrow will be celebrating vijayadasami.

Today was a double bonanza of sorts. It is my mother's 60th star birthday.  We had planned for an ayushhomam. But this Corona has brought everything to a standstill. 

Nothing can stop us from doing what we love to who we love ,isn't it. So we gave her some small surprises, I am sure she will never forget.

Naivedyam 

Morning - pal payasam, vadai, chakkarai pongal

Evening- channa sundal

Full menu

We didn't have breakfast today, instead had straight lunch

Kadamba sambar, tomato rasam, potato roast, aviyal,vadai, chakkarai pongal, payasam. 

Snacks

Had rasa vadai and sambar vadai

Dinner

Adai with the aviyal that was left over from lunch

Had a satisfactory navaratri this year. Hope everything gets to normalcy next year.
